The MAGIP web site and its Member Profile pages have been designed to permit members to describe their areas of expertise and publicize their willingness to mentor others. Use the Mentoring Resources (at right) to become a MAGIP mentor or to find short or long term guidance from a MAGIP member who possesses the skills you seek. Members may find it helpful to connect with each other based on the type of work they do (academic research, local government, utility provider, natural resources, etc.), the type of tasks involved (remote sensing, Python programming, geocoding, database design, GISP application, etc.), or based on their place of residence. To participate in the MAGIP GIS Mentoring program, ensure you are a MAGIP member and follow the steps outlined in the Mentoring Resources.
