MAGIP is continuing to sponsor the map-a-thon event on GIS Day to help map powerlines throughout Montana.

If you are interested in hosting a map-a-thon event in your area, contact Hilary Kauth by and submit a Member Support Request for up to $200 funding or volunteer support!

Web Map Contest:

We are also bringing back the popular web map contest! Submit an application you've been working on professionally or personally for a chance to win a cash prize. Prizes are awarded to 1st ($100), 2nd ($50), and 3rd ($25) place contestants voted on by our membership. View previous GIS day map submissions from our membership for ideas or inspiration.

Map submissions should be submitted to Hilary Kauth by November 17th.
