Abstract: This presentation will cover basic LIDAR applications and analysis using ArcGIS10. Current state and regional projects using enhanced elevation data and a question and answer session on the development and use of LIDAR in Montana. River Design Group, Inc. (RDG) is a private consulting firm specializing in river, stream and wetland restoration projects in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West states. Headquartered in Whitefish, Montana RDG uses enhanced elevation data and derivatives to support river environment work, geomorphic characterization, river corridor habitat enhancement, dam removal, fish passage and screening.
