Bio
Mr. Krueger is a GIS Manager with 10 years of experience in geometric network modeling for power distribution utility systems, geospatial database and server management, web service deployments using ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS, python and spatial modelbuilder workflow creation to automate various project based tasks, GIS website development using javascript, html, and ArcGIS Web Application Builder, cartographic design and map making for a variety of digital and print formats, and spatial database geometry, attribute, and metadata editing. Michael is a part of a team of over 100 GIS professionals at HDR and leads the Geospatial Practice Group in Montana. He works closely with power distribution project managers and design teams to monitor schedules, train team members on multiple GIS platforms, and troubleshoot mobile and desktop GIS applications. In addition to Michael’s HDR career, he serves on the Montana Association of Geographic Information Professionals (MAGIP) Board of Directors in the capacity of Vice President and has been an active member since 2014. His involvement with MAGIP led to the planning and oversight of the 2019 MAGIP Big Sky GeoCon Conference in Butte, MT.
