.NET Software Developer

Small, innovative company in Missoula, Montana seeks a Microsoft .NET Software Developer to support product development and professional service contracts related to location-based services and geographic information systems (GIS).

This programming position is focused on development of distributed network services and integration with third-party systems. The position will work closely with senior programmers and project managers to develop, design, document, construct, integrate, test and support .NET solutions and services. Candidate will be involved with the specification of technical solutions from requirements gathering to proposal and assessment preparation. Working with others on the technical service team, the candidate will participate in all phases of the product development/project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in computer science or related field or related experience.  3 to 5+ years’ experience in server and/or network centric application development.  The candidate must have applied experience with IIS and SQL Server; proficiency in .NET programming with WCF.  Silverlight, Windows Mobile, iOS, Android, and Flex experience is desirable.  Experience with SharePoint and TFS is desirable.  Microsoft Certification is highly desirable.  Strong written communication and verbal presentation skills suitable for technical and non-technical audiences are an absolute must.   

Candidate will be expected to dig in and learn business environment quickly. Flexibility is required with regard to responsibilities and duties. Some travel is required.  This job is located in Missoula, Montana with no exceptions.
